DAYHAN Holistic Martial Arts, located at 329 Broad Avenue, Leonia, New Jersey 07605, is well into its second decade of educating students in the martial arts.
The core of our curriculum is TaeKwonDo. We also offer the following courses:
Tai-Chi TaeKwonDo Tournament Sparring (in preparation for competitions) Meditation and Ki-Gong Breathing Hapkido Gong Kwon Yusul Weapons Karate Self-defense Kickboxing
Emphasis is placed on internal as well as external martial arts.

The goal of our school is to promote HEALTH by harmonizing the mind, body and spirit on a foundation of relaxation with a commitment to the defense and service of others. We seek to instill in our students the virtues of respect for self and others, discipline, fortitude and selflessness.
Our school was founded by Grandmaster Darim Jang, the foremost student of the renowned Grandmaster Han Cha Kyo, late President of the Universal TaeKwonDo Federation and elite founding member of modern-day TaeKwonDo. It is overseen by Master O, a long-time student of Grandmaster Jang.
Master O has studied martial arts since the age of nine. Master O is a magna cum laude graduate of Fordham University with a major in Philosophy. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the National Honor Society. Master O earned a Master Instructor's License from the United States Taekwondo Union, later USA Taekwondo, which, pursuant to the United States Olympic Committee, was the National Governing Body for the sport of Taekwondo in the United States. He is ably assisted by a distinguished faculty of instructors, including Black Belt Instructors Erik and Mark O'Connell, Tae Woo Nam, Attila Filipovich, Christian Seiglie, Mary Albanese and Siddique Ali-Shahbaaz.
DAYHAN Martial Arts Academy is a proud member of the United States of America Taekwondo (USAT), which is a member of the US Olympic Committee. The Academy and Master O are members of the USAT Martial Arts Commission, and Master O has assisted the USAT MAC as a member of its by-laws committee. Our school accepts students as young as FOUR and as old as EIGHTY-FOUR. We are open late afternoons through 10pm weekdays and Saturdays from 11:30am through 4pm. We are closed Sundays and Holidays.
